Katie Hall, MA, ATR-BC, LMHC

Katie Hall is an artist and art therapist holding a master's in art therapy and counseling from Southwestern College in New Mexico and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in New York.  She currently works as a trauma therapist with adults and children struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss at Solace Crisis Treatment Center. She has experience working with families and children with attachment-related issues. Katie also offers private practice services at Canyon Road Art Therapy, where she integrates somatic experiencing, mindfulness, brainspotting, and transpersonal approaches with a focus around each client's unique needs. She has curated an art exhibit for Casa Milagro: Adult therapeutic community, presented workshops and short films at AATA's 2014 conference, as well as at the 2014 Expressive Therapies Summit in New York. Katie is passionate about sharing the healing powers of expressive art making, including visual, music, and movement with community. She is also focused on exploring the digital technique of stop motion animation in art therapy.
