Heather Spooner is faculty and an assistant scholar with the University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine. Her current research focus is on providing telehealth-based creative arts therapy to veterans. She also consults for the team that created the Warrior Stories Platform, a web-based tool that allows service members and veterans to visually depict and process their trauma. Heather has worked as an artist and art therapist in a variety of settings including healthcare facilities and museums. She enjoys exploring new media and processes.
